Video: UFC Heavyweight Champ Daniel Cormier Tries to Smash a Frozen Head Sub-Zero Style

I did not realize there is a YouTube channel dedicated to doing “sciencey” tests of Mortal Kombat fatalities, but welcome 2019, I guess. In any case, the channel wanted to know if it is possible to smash a frozen head with a punch, Sub-Zero style. For that, UFC Champ-Champ Daniel Cormier was brought in to give it a shot.

PS: I moved the 12-minute-long video to the part where Cormier is about to swing on the frozen head. If you want to watch the whole thing, you will need to start over.

By the way, Daniel Cormier is one of my favorite UFC fighters not just because he has won in two divisions and has a great personality, but because he’s a world class athlete despite looking like someone’s stocky dad. It’s sort of like, if Cormier can be that much of a monster despite looking like a fire hydrant, there’s hope for the rest of us.
